Nino is a retired soccer coach, tormented by never having won a final. One day, Oscar, the president of the sports club where the former coach has always worked, contacts him, begging for help to prevent the team from being relegated; the future of the club is at stake. The Coach, increasingly aware that he cannot live without coaching his boys, accepts the challenge. He begins to devise new playing tactics, but unfortunately, during the relegation playoff final, at the end of the first half, the team is already trailing by two goals. Only forty-five minutes remain.
