Mostar is one of the most recognizable cities of South-East Europe. Its multi centennial symbol is The Old Bridge, a tourist attraction under UNESCO protection. In this part of the city the Football Club Velež operates. It is under protection only from its sympathizers. Club members are national team members, winners of greatest European and World awards. Players from this club wore captain’s bands in national teams, played for world teams, and drew amazement wherever they arrived. Although several generations of this club played the most beautiful football, they were never champions of former Yugoslavia. They are nicknamed Rođeni, as something that has great affection. The documentary ‘Rođeni’ is a story about Velež club which is celebrating 100 years of existence in 2022, its birth, development, glory, and survival. Film’s protagonists are clubs’ greatest names and their rivals on the pitch.
