On Friday, June 21, 2014, the third day of the International Short Film Festival (ISFF) took place at the Cultural Center in Rogaška Slatina. From 3:00 PM to 9:40 PM, 13 fascinating films were screened. The day was particularly special as we were honored by the presence of filmmakers from abroad. From England, James Mellor, the director of “Rugby Town” attended with two of his colleagues, and from Italy, Andrea Recchia, the director of “La Salvezza” was present along with two of the main actors.
The audience also had the opportunity to meet director Alin Bijan, who travelled from the USA. Together, we watched his film “Flip Turn” on a mobile screen at the unique location of the Stage Under the Stars on the European Square in Rogaška Slatina.
In addition to the film festival, various parallel events commenced. Legendary Gold Wings motorcyclists gathered in Rogaška Slatina, for whom the agency Palma organized a rich program of excursions, including tours of the nearby surroundings. In the evening, the motorcyclists put on a dazzling performance called the “Light Parade,” showcasing uniquely illuminated motorcycles, accompanied by various musical tracks from their speakers.
The third day of the ISFF festival offered not only high-quality films and intriguing guests but also unforgettable events that further enriched the festive atmosphere in Rogaška Slatina.
