The festival will kick off on Wednesday, June 19th and run until Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.

We have linked it to larger events that will take place during that time:

June 19th:

• • Morning film screenings for schools that have already confirmed their participation will take place at the Cultural Center.
  • The festival’s grand opening will take place in the evening at Anin dvor. Of course, you will be invited to our opening ceremony in due time.
  • Also on this day, guests will arrive for the 1st International GWRA Festival (Gold Wing Motorcyclists Association), who will stay in Rogaška Slatina for 4 days. We expect around 100 motorcyclists from Europe.

June 20th:

• • Morning film screenings for school children will continue at the Cultural Center.
  • In the afternoon, we will organize a public talk with a well-known film director or actor in an open-air space.
  • In the evening, the GWRA Association (Gold WING motorcyclists) will take care of a light show of motorcycles on the European Square.
  • In the evening, there will be the official founding meeting of the European and World CornHole Association.

June 21st:

• • In the morning, there will be a cultural event for schools at the Cultural Center. On this day, in addition to film screenings, the 1st European and World Championship in Cornhole will also begin. The GWRA Association will organize a full-day trip for all its participants.

  • Film screenings will also be held on a large video wall that will be set up on the European Square all days.

June 22nd:

• • In the morning, film screenings will take place at the Cultural Center, and on the outdoor stages, the Mini Olympics, which is organized by the Slovenian Olympic Committee, the municipality, and ISFF. We expect around 500 children and their companions who will actively participate in promotion and activities and try out various sports. The central event will take place on the European Square, and individual sports activities will be spread throughout Rogaška Slatina. The international ECHA competition (EP Cornhole) will take place in the exceptional sports hall of the Šport hotel in Rogaška Slatina, under the patronage of STO and the Štrbunk Association of Slovenia.

  • In the afternoon, there will be an event called Zumba marathon on the European Square, organized by the Venus tourist association.

  • The broadcast from the EP in Corn hole will be live on the internet and we expect a lot of international views. On average, there are around 200,000 views via YouTube.

  • In the evening, there will be an award ceremony for the best films and filmmakers on the central square, followed by a large music concert.

We are also preparing a workshop on the topic of film and sport. We have invited well-known filmmakers and directors to bring the film industry closer to the audience through lectures and workshops.
