Dino was born with arthrogryposis — a rare condition affecting joint mobility. Nevertheless, with the support of his family, relentless effort, and incredible dedication, Dino became an elite para-swimmer and basketball player. It all started in a children’s pool and culminated in winning European bronze in 2009, European gold in the 100m backstroke, and a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games. At the 2024 Paralympics, he carried the Croatian flag and once again reached the podium.
